52 Fridays - Week 1 :New:

This year I joined a 52 Challenge group with some wonderful and talented photographers.   I am very excited.  Our theme for this week was New.

I chose to photograph my trusty old Asics...since my New Year's Resolution is to run for my health.  Throughout the year I will train for a half marathon and for the Spartan Race.
Now go check out the very talented Amy Ames' blog and see what she has posted as her first picture for the 52 Fridays in 2012.

Good for you! I have a similar pair as well! I'm thinking of a 10k this year. Funny how something old can inspire something new.

Love it! I was actually going to do this and then changed my mind. I too am training for a half marathon. Have you done one before? I did one last year with a friend....we had to walk once, but finished. They are SO fun!

Thank you Faye, go for the 10K
Emily, I have been a runner for a few years but never ran a half marathon, so this year I am going for it : )
